About

TABLOID Press is an experimental publishing platform founded in Berlin, Germany in 2014, by two poets. The poets are Nadia Marcus and Zack Darsee. This work of love continues.

Our poetics and publications are, have sought to be, and imagine themselves as embodied disclosures, anti-institutional institutions, versed environments, objectified literatures, tall orders, poets talking, non-poets playing with talking, social documents, poetry as archive, archive as a DJ set. Poetics that transmute and document the "too much" of reality, poetics that strive against and through the communicative stuff that is language. Social poetics that fever a form, too. Emphasis on the "weird" (whatever that means), emphasis on secrets, emphasis on sound, emphasis on excess. What is uncomfortable. What is something we have never read before.

Beyond its primary imprint as a poetry press, TABLOID situates itself in its role as a publisher expansively. As an instrument for "making public." As the desire of innervating the body, be it collective or individual, with the lyric.

Note that we are a largely self-funded operation. Please keep this in mind when proposing longer book projects.

But when we feel it, we feel it.

Zack & Nadia
